It gives me immense pleasure to be the Director of IITTM. I am an in-house Professor with 2 decades of proud association with IITTM, and that experience gives me ample scope to understand and streamline the organisational vision and mission, setting an honest tone for creating tourism manpower in the country through upskilling.

IITTM, under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India, is committed to being an esteemed tourism research institute in the country, thereby providing research consultancy services across the country. We are open to associating with all central and state related tourism organisations to take forward the motto of “Athithi Devo Bhava”. While India is racing from the 6th largest economy to the 5th largest economy in the world, the globe is watching us, and it’s the right time for our tourism to take off, abiding by the principles of sustainability, conservation and preservation of culture, heritage and Nature of India.
